Martin Luther King once said “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at time of challenge and controversy.”

As we enter into this school year facing a bleak economic situation in our schools, it is ever so important for the teachers and parents to work together. It is up to us to work together to resolve these challenges we have encountered and embrace them as opportunities to think of new ways to give our students the education they deserve. Thurgood Marshall Staff is committed to our students and parents. We are determined to give each one the opportunity to receive the best education possible, in an environment for success. Together, as a learning community, we will overcome the adversities that are now upon us, keeping the motto in mind at all times: “We will always do what is best for our students.”
